With 40 percent of food wasted every day in America, this new documentary by Anthony Bourdain aims to change the way people buy, cook, recycle and eat food. Through the eyes of chef-heroes like Bourdain, Dan Barber, Massimo Bottura and Danny Bowien, Wasted! shows how small changes can make the most of every kind of food, and innovative solutions can reduce food waste from farm to fork.
Some locations have limited seating, so registration is recommended at After the Harvest, a non-profit that gleans fields and donates fruits and vegetables to agencies that serve hungry people primarily in the Kansas City area.
