Join farmers, artists, chefs and musicians at a three-day Let’s Grow! conference of virtual and on-farm events at the KC Farm School at Gibbs Road this weekend.
The schedule includes:
- Friday, November 6: An on-farm event will feature live music from KC Bear Fighters, a raku demonstration from KC Clay Guild and local treats from Vietnamese Coffee, Café Ca Phe, Sone Ze Ya and Boulevard Brewing Company from 4-8 p.m.
- Saturday, November 7: Virtual lectures and demonstrations are scheduled from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. online on Putting Hope into Action with featured speakers on seed diversity, resilient living, herbalism and social change, food insecurity, human health and soil health, native plants and pollinators, perennial agriculture and more with farmers, The Land Institute and KC Farm School’s Let’s Grow Wyandotte.
- Sunday, November 8: An on-farm gathering from 9 – 11 a.m. includes farm tours, garlic planting and breakfast.
