Discover medicinal plants on a guided tour of the KU Native Medicinal Plant Research Garden to see the new native plantings, demonstration gardens and the KU Student Farm.
The free tour will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 at 1865 E. 1600 Road, Lawrence, KS.
Kelly Kindscher, Kansas Biological Survey scientist and KU Environmental Studies Program professor, and Jennifer Moody, a botanist and new Kansas Biological Survey coordinator, will lead the tour with Allison Dishinger of the Douglas County Extension Master Gardeners.
