Would you like to learn more about climate change and become a leader in educating others? The Climate Reality Leadership Project is now accepting applications for a free virtual training program.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 trainings will be held virtually in two sessions. The Latin America Training will be held July 10 – 18 in Spanish and English. A Global Training will be held in October, with exact dates to be announced soon.
The Climate Reality Leadership Corps is a global network of advocates trained to talk about the impacts of climate change and what do to support the shift to clean, renewable energy.
Climate Reality leaders are a diverse group of volunteers that give free presentations, work on climate issues, talk to legislators and organize events to educate others and work toward climate solutions.
The training includes presentations by Al Gore, former U.S. vice president and Climate Reality Project founder, along with climate scientists, environmentalists and Climate Reality Project leaders. More than 31,000 people, ages 12 to 87, from 157 countries have been trained since 2006. Each attendee commits to initiate or participate in 10 Climate Reality Project presentations, advocacy, media communication or events within the first year.
