Join a group of volunteers this fall to plant street trees in neighborhoods throughout the Kansas City, MO area.
Heartland Tree Alliance will be planting free trees along the right-of-way of city streets. To volunteer, register at the links connected to each date below. No prior tree planting experience is necessary. Tools and equipment will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own work gloves and reusable water bottle. Volunteer days include:
- Saturday, November 20, 9 a.m. – Noon, Liberty, MO: Register at Heartland Tree Alliance.
- Tuesday, November 23, 9 a.m. – Noon, Kansas City, MO: Register at Heartland Tree Alliance.
- Wednesday, December 1, 9 a.m. – Noon, Kansas City, MO: Register at Heartland Tree Alliance.
- Saturday, December 4, 9 a.m.- Noon, Kansas City, MO: Register at Heartland Tree Alliance.
