Enjoy a community bike ride to the Royals game vs. the Astros on September 17. BikeWalkKC will lead rides from Kansas City and Lee’s Summit.
Community rides make for a great social event that welcome and encourage new riders to give biking a try alongside more experienced bikers. So, invite a friend and join BikeWalkKC’s Ride to the Royals event.
Both riding groups will get an early start to allow for a relaxed, social pace. You can bring your own food and beverages to enjoy tailgating during the ride.
- Ride from Kansas City, MO: The ride from Kansas City will meet at Kauffman Gardens and ride the Brush Creek and Blue River Trails to Kauffman stadium. There is option to rent a RideKC electric bike (limited availability).
- Ride from Lee’s Summit, MO: The ride from Lee’s Summit will meet at Hartman Park and ride the Rock Island Trail to Kauffman stadium.
After the game, the groups will ride together and end back at their respective starting locations before sunset.
Each riding group includes a ride leader who will ensure that no one is left behind.
The Ride to the Royals event will go from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 17. Tickets cost $20.
Registration for the event includes the cost of your game ticket and BikeWalkKC’s ride insurance.
