Thousands of People’s Climate Movement marches and rallies are planned throughout the United States and around the world on Saturday, September 8 to demand action on climate change.
The marches will be coordinated with global partners of the People’s Climate Movement to take place the weekend before the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, CA. Participants will be asking for a “fast and fair transition to 100-percent renewable energy for all.” The Summit has invited every mayor, governor and local leader in the world to make a climate commitment to help the world reach the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
To find a Rise for Climate, Jobs & Justice march in cities across the country, go to People’s Climate Movement and search by zip code.
