The Oxfam Action Corps, a grassroots effort that addresses global issues like poverty, hunger and injustice, is looking for volunteers to participate in a free four-day national advocacy training session in Washington D.C., April 13-16.
The Oxfam Action Corps is a group of volunteers based in 15 U.S. cities. Alongside other local volunteers, they campaign with Oxfam America, an international relief and development organization. Their causes include women and farmers’ rights, rising food prices and climate change.
