Breakfast with Santa benefits Kansas City Community Gardens
The Crestwood Shops are hosting Breakfast with Santa to benefit Kansas City Community Gardens (KCCG). The event will include breakfast and a photo with Santa at Aixois Bistro and goody bags prepared by KCCG.
All proceeds benefit KCCG, which helps Kansas City’s low-income and food insecure grow healthy food. KCCG members get free or low-cost plants, seeds, fertilizer, tilling services and mulch. It also offers free workshops, hands-on activities and expert advice on garden planning and construction, maximizing the amount of food grown, and food preparation and preservation.
Two seatings are available at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 at Aixois Bistro, 251 E. 55th St., Kansas City, MO. Tickets are $25 and are available at www.holidaysincrestwood.com.
